Infant Toddler Special Network

DECAL creates Infant Toddler Specialist Network which aims to improve the quality of services and education of infants and toddlers ages birth to three across the state.  The network of trainers will be specially trained and also help increase the future availability of infant toddler coursework and training.  A statewide network of infant toddler specialist will be formed to aid early care and education providers.  The $1.25 million project was funded from the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act ( ARRA) which required a certain portion of child care quality funding be spent on this sector.

The initial network will work with selected child care providers however the training modules and specialist will be in place to serve a greater scope of centers at a later date.
