Individual Membership FAQ's What is it? For several years, the Georgia Child
Care Association has had the individual membership category which allows child care
professionals to join GCCA as an individual member. GCCA received inquiries over the
years for this type of membership. With the
need for credentialed teachers growing, many child care professionals have returned to the
classroom to earn their credential in the early education field. One of the steps in most credentialing processes is
demonstrating membership in a professional association.
This category of membership will assist with child care professionals with
their ongoing commitment to professional development.
This category of membership is
available to any employee of a licensed child care facility.
Your center does not have to be a member of GCCA to become an individual
member. Membership in this individual
category is complimentary to, but does not replace,
GCCA center membership. Center members will
still be the only ones to receive Legislative Updates, and email blasts. Individual Members will receive a
certificate when enrolled as an individual member, and entitles you to discounts off GCCA
sponsored training and meeting registration fees. Simply print out this page, fill out
the application form, enclose payment and mail to GCCA. When we receive your application, we will process
your application and mail your membership materials to you.
