Jennifer Singleton-Laster is the founder and owner of Bemiss Academy Preschool, Inc. Bemiss Academy Preschool is a Quality Rated "2" Star Center, and Quality Rated Inclusion program.
Jennifer is also the owner of Bright Beginnings Educational Consulting, LLC. Bright Beginnings Educational Consulting LLC is a training institute that is state approved by Bright from the Start and Department of Early Care of Learning that offers various of ECE training and CPR/First Aid training to childcare providers.
Jennifer Singleton-Laster is a native of Valdosta, Georgia, a graduate of Valdosta State University, a Group Home Child Care Provider & Director since 2002-2004, and a Registered Family Child Care Provider since 1997-2002.
Jennifer is an approved as a Bright from the Start State Approved Trainer, ECE Mentor Coach, CDA Instructor and PD Specialist for Council of Professional of Recognition. In addition to serving on the GCCA Board, Jennifer also serves on the Child Care Advisory Board for Early Childhood Education at Wiregrass Technical College .
She manages the daily operations of her school with her, Kerry Laster (Army Veteran) of 35 years of marriage. Jennifer and Kerry have 3 children, Kerry Jr., Kierria and Keion. Jennifer has 20+ years of childcare experience and currently resides in the Valdosta, Georgia.
