Latresse Bray

Co-Owner, Towne Lake Academy | GCCA Board Member

Latresse Bray is the Co-Owner and Executive Leader of Towne Lake Academy, a private early childhood program serving families in the Towne Lake and Woodstock communities since 1994. Together with her husband, Sammie, Latresse has led the school for the past ten years, growing it into a thriving two-campus program known for its strong leadership culture, staff development, and commitment to excellence in early learning.

A long-time member of the Georgia Child Care Association (GCCA), Latresse has been actively engaged in legislative advocacy, leadership training, and the organization’s lobbying committee. Her passion lies in equipping early education professionals with the tools, confidence, and voice to lead with integrity and impact.

Latresse’s leadership philosophy centers on relationships, professional growth, and creating environments where both children and teachers can flourish. She brings more than a decade of hands-on experience managing multi-campus operations, mentoring directors and assistant directors, and developing systems that support quality, consistency, and community trust.

When she’s not leading her team at TLA, Latresse enjoys spending time with her husband Sammie, their four daughters, and their granddaughter, Jordan.
