GCCA Members: Offer Employee Health Benefits Starting at Just $74/Month

An exclusive GCCA member benefit makes it easier for child care employers to offer affordable health, dental, vision and other benefits — with no required employer contribution.

Great employees are essential to great child care. But for many child care businesses, offering traditional employee health benefits has simply been too expensive.

GCCA members have another option.

Through our exclusive partnership with THRIVE Workplace Benefits, GCCA member employers can give their teams access to affordable health and supplemental insurance options designed to work for a range of budgets.

More than 315 employees have already enrolled through the GCCA and THRIVE program.

Only Two Employees Are Needed

This benefit was designed to be accessible even for smaller child care employers.

A GCCA member location needs only two employees enrolled in eligible medical plans to activate the benefit.

Even better: there is no required employer financial contribution.

Your center can make these benefits available to employees even if you are not currently able to contribute toward their monthly premiums.

That gives GCCA members another tool to strengthen their employee benefits package, support their teams, and compete for great staff.

Affordable Options for Your Team

Employees can choose from several benefit options, including:

• Medical coverage

• Dental insurance

• Vision insurance

• Hospital indemnity coverage

• Term life insurance

Medical plans start at approximately $74 per month for employee-only coverage. Dental options start around $25.82 per month, and vision starts around $9.06 per month.

Enrollment is completed online through the EASE platform, making the process simple for employers and employees.

Open Enrollment Begins in September

Open Enrollment for the 2026–2027 benefit year runs during September, with benefits effective November 1, 2026.

If your center is not already participating, now is the time to get started.

New and prospective employers need to complete setup before their employees can enroll, so GCCA members interested in participating should contact THRIVE as soon as possible.
