Deborah A. Ausburn, JD

Debbie Ausburn is a social-worker-turned-lawyer who has worked with youth-serving organizations for more than 30 years. Since law school, she has served as a foster parent, criminal prosecutor, and litigation attorney. Her experience includes successful cases before the United States Supreme Court in constitutional claims and dozens of successful jury trials. She has defended youth-serving organizations throughout the United States in matters ranging from minor injuries to sexual abuse. She assists with internal investigations and advises clients about risk management, client ADA matters, and child protection policies.
